Ram Simran – Ram Japa while thinking about Lord Ram

Japa of Ram Mantra given by our most beloved Guru.  We are doing Ram Ram while keeping its meaning in mind – Shree Ram is the source and infinite reservoir of all powers, Absolute Truth, Source of light/knowledge/consciousness whose true nature is to impart bliss.

The One who is infinite and who is present everywhere so He is as close to us as anything can be and even closer because He resides in us as the soul. Supreme Soul is the One that lives in each one of us as the soul, so says Pujya Vishwa Mitter Ji Maharaj.

With that bhavana or the attitude and feeling we must remember Ram, do the simran to be close to Shree Ram –  always … we promised Pujya Swami Ji Maharaj that we will do that always and never give up.

Ram Ram Ji.

Parmatma and Gurujans are always close to us

Our Gurujans and Shastras (Scriptures) tell us that we should feel the presence of Parmatma all around us and in us.

Similarly, we must know that our Gurujans are close to us always.

We must bring this feeling over and over again to receive help in everyday living according to what they have taught us and with our spiritual progress.

In Pravachan Piyush Swamiji Maharaj mentions (Swatm Pratiti – Page 105) that Manu Maharaj says we must hope to succeed til the end.

USA Open Satsang – from a sadhak

Ram Ram Ji to all fellow sadhaks. For those of you residing in the US or Canada, please be advised that there is an Open Sadhna Satsang from May 17th to May 20th in Saylorsburg, PA. Param Pujya Maharaj Ji from Shree Ram Sharnam – Delhi is arriving in the USA to grace the event and bestow his blessings. Since we are all followers of Pujya Swami Ji Maharaj, we all belong to the same Shree Ram Sharnam family and this is a good opportunity for all sadhaks to experience the event and receive the spiritual growth that we all need living here in the US. If anyone is interested to attend, please send an email to – usaopensatsang@gmail.com or review the entire program schedule on

Jai Jai Ram

Never lose hope

We must have faith in Ram Naam and our Gurujans.  We realize that Ram Kripa and Guru Kripa is always with us but not how much and how our life has changed due to that .

Never lose hope, we will receive significant spiritual benefits from our practice.  Swamiji Maharaj has mentioned that many times in Bhakti Prakash.  If we simply look around other sadhaks life and examine our own life we will find what has changed and many other seeds are waiting to be sprouted.

What happened in Dhyan after listening to D-Live Video Clip Pravachan

After listening to Pujya Maharajji  about kamanas and the word “chah” has aah in it, a strong impression was made on the mind.  In this morning’s dhyan while calling Ram, Ram, Ram, Ram with love of a child calling Ma, Ma, Ma, Ma and the aah or separation of child from the mother, three distinct experiences happened that can still be recalled:

1.   While crying for her love, the feeling of being near to the Dearest Ram was overwhelming and the pain of separation was gone for few moments.

2.  Next the word and the sound of aham (as in ahankar or false self)  and the feeling of aham burning away in Ra (“R” of agni).

3.   With the repeitition of sound of Ra..aa..mm, Ra..aa..mm, Ra..aa..mm, Ra..aa..mm, and a yearning to meet Divine Mother,  a sense of peace prevailed similar to when a child puts the head down in Mother’s lap to rest.

> Swamiji Maharaj and Premji Maharaj, both had a relationship with Parmatma as a child has with the mother.  Maharaj says, “Ram hi Ma hai aur Ma hi Ram hai”.  This is true.

Sab Santan ki Jai, Jai Jai Ram.

Gaining inner strength from Ram Naam

Nirbal ka bal Ram.  Ram se bada Ram ka Naam.

We have heard this many times.  We are fortunate to have received Naam Deeksha.  We must get the full benefit out of Ram Naam in our devotion and taking care of our responsibilities.

Now, how do we go about gaining this inner strength and what are we supposed to with this inner strength.  As Shree Swamiji Maharaj describes in Amritvani:

Ram Ram Bhaj Kar Sri Ram,

Kariye Nitya Hee Uttam Kaam.

Jitne Kartavya Karm Kalaap,

Kariye Ram-Ram Kar Jaap.

As mentioned by Swamiji Maharaj we must do this, that is Ram Ram Bhajiye without stopping (performed daily, without fail) and do it with reverence.  In a recent discourse by Shree Dr. Vishwamitterji Maharaj said that he calls Ram Ma because that is the relationship, Shree Swamiji Maharaj and Shree Prem ji Maharaj had with Paramaatma Shree Ram.  He adds:

Ram is Ma and Ma is Ram.

So we do Ram Bhajan, simran, and jap with love as a child is calling her beloved mother. Our Gurujans guarantee, give us assurances over and over that we will get the inner strength to take care of all our responsibilities and we will do a better job of it with Ram Kripa.

A saadhak who has a Satguru in life is very fortunate

According to Sant Mahatmas:

To be born as a human being is a blessing which is very difficult to obtain.  Much more difficult is to have God’s blessing and to start a journey as a saadhak (devotee).  And it is extremely, extremely, extremely difficult to have a Satguru in life.

So my beloved brothers and sisters, we the saadhaks are most fortunate to have a loving Sadguru in our lives.  We are not able to live our daily lives as shown by Maharajji in Sadhana Satsang and as in Pravachan Piyush by Swamiji Maharaj.  It helps to cry in front of Ma (Divine Mother – Lord Ma) and talk to God about our weaknesses and ask for mercy and grace (kripa).

Each one of us need to wake up to the fact that, “Main shaktimayi atma hoon” (I am a powerful soul), powerful to walk on the path as shown in Sadhna Satsang and discourses given delivered by our Gurujans.  No matter how many times we get off the path we simply need to get back on it and know that our Gurujans and Shree Ram are always with us,  helping, and protecting us.
