It seems like any person who has understood that he or she is an Atma, a Shudh Atma is getting closer to closer to Parmatma. Furthermore, the history of such people who have bonded with Parmatma in a loving relationship like Mother or Ma, then Parmatma treats them differently – meaning not according to their karmas but the way Parmatma wants to run their life.
Communicating with Lord Ma like a new born or a very young baby, one begins communing with the Lord. Then the Lord Ma drops the “Lord: and loves the baby like a mother who is so attached to the baby.
This so called baby becomes a Mahatma, a Sant or Saint, and we have seen or heard of few of these Sant-Mahatmas whose relationship with Parmatma was of a small child and mother.
Many of the readers may be aware of Ramakrishna Parmahansa and our own Swami Satyanand Ji Maharaj, Prem Ji Maharaj, and Dr. Vishwa Mitter Ji Maharaj have had the same relationship and bhavana.
Those of you who can come and attend USA Open Satsang and specially thos who live in the western part of the world do not miss the opportunity to be with Maharajji and do your sadhana.
If anyone is interested to attend, please send an email to – email@example.com or review the entire program schedule on
Every morning a sadhak tries to do Amritvani Paath. Today the sadhak was inspired by Ma or Shree Ram to do the jaap on the mala before the paath.
Lord’s Will, It is done.
Sadhak has been imagining that Pujya Shree Maharaj ji, Prem Ji Maharaj, and Swamiji Maharaj are always there in jaap and simran. Ma gave that experience to the sadhak.
Lord’s Will, It is done.
Sadhak has been seeing pictures of Gurujans in pictures and in photo gallery,(click on link to see) http://www.ibiblio.org/ram/lft_mn08.htm and those images came to mind when jaap and simran was being done.
Lord’s Will, It is done.
After listening to Pujya Maharajji about kamanas and the word “chah” has aah in it, a strong impression was made on the mind. In this morning’s dhyan while calling Ram, Ram, Ram, Ram with love of a child calling Ma, Ma, Ma, Ma and the aah or separation of child from the mother, three distinct experiences happened that can still be recalled:
1. While crying for her love, the feeling of being near to the Dearest Ram was overwhelming and the pain of separation was gone for few moments.
2. Next the word and the sound of aham (as in ahankar or false self) and the feeling of aham burning away in Ra (“R” of agni).
3. With the repeitition of sound of Ra..aa..mm, Ra..aa..mm, Ra..aa..mm, Ra..aa..mm, and a yearning to meet Divine Mother, a sense of peace prevailed similar to when a child puts the head down in Mother’s lap to rest.
> Swamiji Maharaj and Premji Maharaj, both had a relationship with Parmatma as a child has with the mother. Maharaj says, “Ram hi Ma hai aur Ma hi Ram hai”. This is true.
Sab Santan ki Jai, Jai Jai Ram.

Nirbal ka bal Ram. Ram se bada Ram ka Naam.
We have heard this many times. We are fortunate to have received Naam Deeksha. We must get the full benefit out of Ram Naam in our devotion and taking care of our responsibilities.
Now, how do we go about gaining this inner strength and what are we supposed to with this inner strength. As Shree Swamiji Maharaj describes in Amritvani:
Ram Ram Bhaj Kar Sri Ram,
Kariye Nitya Hee Uttam Kaam.
Jitne Kartavya Karm Kalaap,
Kariye Ram-Ram Kar Jaap.
As mentioned by Swamiji Maharaj we must do this, that is Ram Ram Bhajiye without stopping (performed daily, without fail) and do it with reverence. In a recent discourse by Shree Dr. Vishwamitterji Maharaj said that he calls Ram Ma because that is the relationship, Shree Swamiji Maharaj and Shree Prem ji Maharaj had with Paramaatma Shree Ram. He adds:
Ram is Ma and Ma is Ram.
So we do Ram Bhajan, simran, and jap with love as a child is calling her beloved mother. Our Gurujans guarantee, give us assurances over and over that we will get the inner strength to take care of all our responsibilities and we will do a better job of it with Ram Kripa.
Mahatma Gandhiji and PremJi Maharaj not only share the same birthday (October 2nd) – both of them were devotees of Lord Ram. So many of Sant Mahatmas like them must have bhavana, attitude and feelings such as ” Rome Rome Shree Ram Pukare ..,” that most of us can’t even imagine.
Hum par bhi aisi kripa karo mere Ram. Hamara rome rome bhi Shree Ram Pukare ..aisi kripa karo mere Ram. (Bless me Lord Ram so that every atom of my being calls for Shree Ram.. yearns for Shree Ram).
Our Gurujans tell us that for this to happen we must do our practice consistently and also attend Satsangs (where Sant Mahatmas and true devotees are present). We need to and must go again and again and learn from Sant Mahatmas how they lead a life of selfless service, express love and devotion to God, and impart knowledge in spiritual discourses, etc.
According to Shree Swamiji Maharaj, Mahatma Gandhiji used to recite Sthitpragya Ke Lakshan (Shreemad Bhagvad Gita – second chapter) with heart at both times of his daily prayers.
We can learn from the lives of Mahatma Gandhiji and our Gurujans by following their advice and may be one day with Ram Kripa we will also be blessed with similar bhavana and bhakti.
May the following dhun sung by Maharajji evoke similar devotional feelings in us.
VIDEO CLIP – Rome Rome Shree Ram Pukare
Satya Bhavana (my limited understanding and translation’s only purpose is to act as a reminder to sadhaks who know Hindi and have read Bhakti Prakash. For those who do not read Hindi learning the language is encouraged to truly understand the spiritual knowledge Shree Swami Ji Maharaj is blessing us with)
In the 12 atmik bhavnayain Shree Swami Ji Maharaj encourages us to wake up our true self, our atman by chanting and remembering meaning of Ram-Naam with love …… we should focus on thinking of benevolent qualities and attributes of God.
He continues, “You, my atman! are indestructible and in all three worlds and at all times your true nature is this truth …. you’re pure soul – immutable and immortal”
A great deal of valuable spiritual knowledge and information is available through Shreeramsharnam.org and at their centers with the blessings of our Pujya Premji Maharaj and Pujya Dr. Vishwa Mitter Ji Maharaj.
I noticed a common message in a story in Shree Swami Satyanand Ji Maharaj’s Bhakti Prakash and in his Ramayan-Saar that is inspired by Valmiki Ramayan. Both delivered a common message about serving and true giving.
In Bhakti Prakash there is a story of a king who having lost everything to a neighboring king’s invasion, was hiding his face wherever he could. He was disappointed in himself for not been able to protect his subjects from unruly invaders. A very rich businessman met with the king and offered all his wealth and the services of his seven sons to help the king get his kingdom back.
After getting the kingdom back the king was planning a huge celebration in which he was going to honor the businessman who gave his all. Before the celebration started, the businessman approached the king and asked him not to do that because he did that only due to his duty to his country. The businessman further said, “In my heart I am so overfilled with joy that there is no room for my praise”.
This is true giving – giving without any expectation of name or fame. Pujya Dr. Viswa Mitter JI Maharaj says we should serve and do our duty with no expectation of even receiving a “thank you” and he reminds us, that is how, Shree Prem Ji Maharaj lived his life, with nishkam bhav or selfless service without desiring any personal gain.
In Ramayan-Saar there is a mention of people of Ayodhaya who served while remaining humble. They were skillful, adept in dispensing their duties, smart, and Ram Bhakt. Out of their love for Lord Ram they were serving others.
Let us also do Ram Ka Kaam in the same spirit.
We are blessed to have such great Pujya Gurujans who have blessed us with Ram Naam and given us so many gifts such as Amritvani, and translations of Ramayan, Bhagvad Gita, Upnishads, and many more valuable booklets, audio and video discourses, bhajans, etc.
