Guru never dies, shishya keep the Guru alive by living the Guru’s teachings. This is what Maharajji has said more than once.
Pujyya Shree Maharajji’s body was immersed in Neel Dhara, Haridwar on July 3rd, 2012 at 6:00 pm (IST).
Today is the day after Guru Purnima:
Now it is up to us individually to take at least one lesson
he has taught us and bring that into our life.
What will be that for you?
My personal favorite is on how to give up a negative habit.
In his discourse, Maharaji suggests that we can give up the habit for one day and then extend the same for another day and so on. He also tells us that mind needs to be totally cleansed and surrendered to Lord.
Best wishes to all sadhaks.
Ram Ram Ji.
Man kahan hai? Kya veh hamare ango jaisa hai? (Where is mind, is it like parts of our body?)
There is only one cosmic mind – Our Gurujans
Our mind is just a bundle of thoughts.
Yet mind is where we do our puja … mind is the one that needs to be transformed. Soul is pure (Main shudh atma hoon as mentioned by Swamiji Maharaj in Bhakti Prakash). Swamiji Maharaj also says that,”Main mukt atma hoon” (I am a liberated soul). So mind is not free or liberated from the thoughts of the world or the body consciousness. That is why we do dhyan (concentration).
Pujya Dr. Vishwa Mitter Ji Maharaj says, “Dhyan kamzoron ka kaam nahin hai, Dhayan shoorveeron ka kaam hai” (Concentration is not for the weak-minded people but for the brave ones).
Jaise Surya ki kirane sab par parti hain aise hi Parmaatma ki Prem ki kirane bhi sab par parti hain.
Param Pita Parmaatma sab tere balak hain, tau sab mere huye bhai bahen,
Sab tere hain tau sab mere bhi huye na, ab Tu hi mujhe sab se prem karna sikha.
Toone diye hain aise pyare Gurujan, aur hamein mila hai pyara Ram Naam,
Ab lagata tau aisa hai ki yeh Ram Naam hi mun ki safai karega tau hi prem basega iss mein.
Ram Ram Ji.
Iss tun se woh hove jo hai Teri Marzi
Iss mun mein Tu sama ja yeh hai Meri Arzi.
(Lord, may this body be utilized as per your behest,
May only You have the place in my heart, this is my request).
You have probably have heard about the story (either from Pujya Shree Maharajji or elsewhere) about Ganeshji writing the word “Ram” on the ground and going around it because he was told by Naradji that he can go around the world by doing so.
And sometimes the reality of our lives is just the opposite …… specially at times when our dhyan is not so good, we sit for our practice but the mind goes around the world, instead of Ram.
