Why are we attached to mind, its not ours – our Gurujans say

Man kahan hai? Kya veh hamare ango jaisa hai? (Where is mind, is it like parts of our body?)

There is only one cosmic mind – Our Gurujans

Our mind is just a bundle of thoughts.

Yet mind is where we do our puja … mind is the one that needs to be transformed. Soul is pure (Main shudh atma hoon as mentioned by Swamiji Maharaj in Bhakti Prakash). Swamiji Maharaj also says that,”Main mukt atma hoon” (I am a liberated soul). So mind is not free or liberated from the thoughts of the world or the body consciousness. That is why we do dhyan (concentration).

Pujya Dr. Vishwa Mitter Ji Maharaj says, “Dhyan kamzoron ka kaam nahin hai, Dhayan shoorveeron ka kaam hai” (Concentration is not for the weak-minded people but for the brave ones).

Parmatma Parmanand hai aur PREMANAND bhi hai

We all know that Parmatma is referred to as the one who gives param anand (Supreme Bliss or Bliss absolute).

Pujya Maharajji says in one of his pravachans/discourses that Parmatma says, ” Na tau main kripa karta hoon, na daya, aur na hi karuna. Main tau sab se prem karta hoon aur sab mere priyatam hain”. (Neither do I bestow grace, mercy, or compassion … I just love all of you, and all of you are my beloveds”

In this way Parmatma can be known as Premanand (Love-Bliss Absolute) also.

Mere Ram Tu Sab Se Prem Karta Hai

Jaise Surya ki kirane sab par parti hain aise hi Parmaatma ki Prem ki kirane bhi sab par parti hain.

Param Pita Parmaatma sab tere balak hain, tau sab mere huye bhai bahen,

Sab tere hain tau sab mere bhi huye na, ab Tu hi mujhe sab se prem karna sikha.

Toone diye hain aise pyare Gurujan, aur hamein mila hai pyara Ram Naam,

Ab lagata tau aisa hai ki yeh Ram Naam hi mun ki safai karega tau hi prem basega iss mein.

Mere Ram Mera Kya Hai

Jab hum iss sansar mein aaye tau hum kuch saath lekar nahin aaye thaey aur na hi kuch lekar jaayenge. Hum ne suna hai ki hamara kuch bhi nahin hai aur sab Parmatma ka hai. Phir bhi hum bahut vastuon ko aur jano ko apna maante hain. Yeh sab sansar ke rishte hain aur yaheen khatam ho jaayenge.

Ab hame karna kya hai. Sab se prem karna hai – prem purvak vyahar karna hai sab se. Aisa hi Maharajji (Open Satsang USA 2011Information ) ne kaha ki jo sab se prem karne lag jaata hai woh Parmaatma ka ho jaata hai, Parmaatma uska ho jaata hai – yeh hi hai Divya Prem (Divine Love).

Never lose hope

We must have faith in Ram Naam and our Gurujans. We realize that Ram Kripa and Guru Kripa is always with us but not how much and how our life has changed due to that .

Never lose hope, we will receive significant spiritual benefits from our practice. Swamiji Maharaj has mentioned that many times in Bhakti Prakash. If we simply look around other sadhaks life and examine our own life we will find what has changed and many other seeds are waiting to be sprouted.

Reading too many books vs. Simran

Adhik naam jaap aur simran se hota hai milan.

Reading too many spiritual books gives our ego a boost,

Loving Ram Naam leads to oneness with Lord Ram (face to face with Shree Ram).

Impure mind and Ram Naam

Everyone at one time or another has had impure thoughts in their mind and everyone has a potential to reach the highest. Looking inward we will find our mind is or has been full of impure thoughts.

As Sant Kabir says:

Bura jo dekhan main chala, bura na milaya koye

Jo man khoja apna, tau mujhse bura na koye.

This morning the following thought came in mind while doing dhyan:

Jitna bhi ho man kala

Ram Naam usme kar dega ujaala

(No matter how impure the mind is Ram Naam can make it pure)

Fellow spiritual aspirants it seems that our Gurujans. other Sant-Mahatmas, and Param Guru Shree Ram are not only telling us about that but they guarantee that Ram Naam can enlighten us. So let us listen to our beloved Gurujans and do more and more Jaap, Simran, Dhyan, and Seva whenever possible and attend Satsangs at Shreeramsharnam to receive more and more Ram Kripa and Guru Kripa.
